  3. Narrow the word pattern. Set a beginning, ending or letter sequence, then choose the word-length range.
  4. Compare the results. The tool ranks matches by Words With Friends letter values. A +35 label marks a word that uses all seven rack tiles.

Words With Friends tile values are not Scrabble values

Words With Friends and Scrabble look similar, but their tile points are not identical. This helper uses Words With Friends values for its estimates. A Scrabble word finder or Scrabble cheat should use the correct Scrabble scoring and word list instead of reusing these results.

What this word finder can and cannot calculate

The helper checks whether a reference word can be formed from the rack and the board letters you entered. It does not see the live game board, determine every legal placement, calculate crosswords or apply double-letter, triple-letter, double-word and triple-word squares. Its points are a useful comparison of base tile values, not a guaranteed final game score.

About the reference word list

The local list is ENABLE1, a public-domain English word list compiled by Alan Beale and M. Cooper. The tool uses entries from 2 to 15 letters. ENABLE1 is not a certified copy of the current Words With Friends dictionary, so check a disputed word inside the game. You can also use the separate Words With Friends dictionary checker to see whether a word appears in this reference edition.

Words With Friends cheat questions

How does this Words With Friends cheat work?

Enter up to seven letters from your rack. Add letters already on the board, apply word-pattern filters and rank matching reference words by Words With Friends base tile values.

Can I use blank tiles?

Yes. Enter a question mark (?) for each blank tile. The helper supports up to two blank tiles and assigns them to letters that are missing from your rack.

Does the tool calculate my exact board score?

No. It adds the base values of the new rack tiles and the 35-point bonus when all seven rack tiles are used. It does not calculate premium squares, perpendicular words or every board-specific placement rule, so the in-game total can differ.

Does it use the official Words With Friends dictionary?

No. It searches the public-domain ENABLE1 reference word list. It is useful for finding word ideas, but it is not the current official Zynga word list and a result may be accepted or rejected by the game.

Is a Words With Friends cheat the same as a Scrabble cheat?

No. The games use different tile values and their accepted word lists can differ. Use a tool built for the game you are actually playing.
