The solver checks exact anagrams in the local ENABLE1 public-domain reference list. It does not access an official daily puzzle feed or automatically guess the final cartoon phrase.

How this jumbled words solver works

Each row is handled as its own letter puzzle. The tool rearranges the letters, checks the resulting words against a local reference list and shows possible full-word matches. You can fill one row or work through four at once.

  1. Enter each scramble separately. Put the mixed-up letters into one row. Leave the other rows empty when you have fewer entries.
  2. Choose the intended answer. Review the matching words and select the one that fits the puzzle clue.
  3. Add circled positions. Enter positions such as 2, 5 to extract the second and fifth letters from the answer you selected.
  4. Collect the letter bank. The selected circled letters appear together below the rows. Use them to work out the final phrase.

Why the circled letters matter

Many newspaper-style Jumble puzzles ask you to solve several scrambled entries before using marked letters to form a final answer. The positions depend on the particular puzzle, so the tool lets you enter them rather than assuming the same pattern for every day.

Jumbled words and a word descrambler

This page is designed for several separate word entries and optional circled-letter extraction. For one rack of letters where you want shorter words as well as full anagrams, use the Word Descrambler. For rearrangements that must use every letter, try the Anagram Solver.

Dictionary note

The candidate list is a general ENABLE1 English reference list. A match is not a guarantee that a specific newspaper puzzle, Scrabble or Words With Friends accepts that word.

Jumbled words questions

Can I solve more than one jumbled word?

Yes. Enter up to four scrambled words and solve all filled rows together. You can also use just one row.

Do results use every letter?

Yes. Each candidate is a full rearrangement of the letters in that row. Shorter words made from only part of a row are not included.

How do I collect circled letters?

After choosing a candidate, enter the one-based positions of its circled letters, separated by commas. The tool extracts those letters in order.

Does this solve the final Jumble cartoon phrase?

No. It helps with the scrambled word entries and collects the circled letters. You can use that letter bank to work out the final phrase yourself.

Which dictionary is used?

Candidates come from the local ENABLE1 public-domain reference list. It is not an official answer list for any newspaper puzzle or word game.
